The Mason Jar came highly recommended to us by friends who visit frequently. We ventured here on a Friday evening and instantly fell in love. The atmosphere was great, service was great, and the food was incredible! We got the shrimp and grits, chicken tenders, and a patty melt. Oh, and we started with fried pickles. Amazing!

Henry was a great server and was really helpful, kind, and caring. The food definitely needs improvement though. I got shrimp and grits and I can still taste the burnt flavor. Overall though, great drinks and great service but the staff in the kitchen definitely needs some improvement on their cooking.

Great spot to meet up with friends for a drink and a yummy meal. Owners Eddie and Heather do a great job taking care of customers, and the rest of staff is friendly and helpful. Drinks: Their smoked old fashioned is the best by far in Greer (I've tried ALL of them), and they have a fun cocktail menu and happy hour. Fun: They have something going on almost every night, Taco Tuesdays, Trivia nights, live bands on Saturdays, and a karaoke night. If you want a quiet meal, go early, if you want the fun things start at 7ish. Food: Food options are varied - burgers to the a cobb salad served in a mason jar. I've tried most things and portions are a bit too big for me, but very yummy. Be patient though, it's a chill Southern kitchen, so enjoy a drink and appetizer while waiting. Overall, I've been a regular here for a while, and it is an all around good time. Hope to see you there!

We have not been here for several years. Stopped by after a disappointing trip to White Wine and Butter where we were ignored and treated rudely by “management”. We didn’t know what we have been missing! Such a neat bar with great food and service! Lyla turned our bad night into a fun night to remember. Friday night karaoke is always fun and the crowd was having a great time. This is not just a bar as we saw several families having a good time! We can’t wait to go back!

I’m here in the area visiting for my nephew’s wedding reception. The placed was chosen for our brunch the next day. I will start off saying the service was outstanding. From the hostess at the door to the servers on the floor as well as the manager, they all were very polite, professional and Henry was attentive. We had a large party and handled us with ease. The Mason Jar is a nice, quaint, stylish but laid back restaurant and the atmosphere was perfect. I love the location because afterwards, I was able to walk down to several shops before leaving. Let's get back to the food! Ahhhhh yea the food.... ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I love to travel and dine so I have officially made this one of my spots! I had the shrimp and grits and they have a creative spin to it. It was so much that I could not finish it but you better believe I wanted to! Whoever thought the blend of grits, shrimp, Brussels sprouts and bacon would be a hit!! The others at my table enjoyed their meals just as much as I did. I highly recommend this place.
